Luxxe & Found have a conversation with ShoutoutLA about starting their lifestyle brand.

Original article published by ShoutoutLA

We had the good fortune of connecting with Luxxe & Found and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Luxxe & Found, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?

I think it’s really important to know that people find their way to nomadic and tiny living for a wide variety of reasons; and most are very intentional about their decision.

This is a movement, not a circumstance.

Those who have always subscribed to the classic American dream of success equalling a 9-5 and a mortgage, are witnessing a mass exodus from the 9-5’s specifically.

We truly believe this new level of autonomy will unravel, and ultimately transform our collective ideas and aspirations on how we approach curating a lifestyle. In two years, this will be a BIG deal.

The most important factor on our journey to success really began with knowledge of self.

We had to get very clear about the life we wanted to live outside of any perceived constraints or circumstances. The space to dream is an absolute privilege.

The opportunity to make our dreams a reality is only created by the confidence stemming from that knowledge of self. This drastic change in lifestyle was not easy to make, but once we became clear on our “why,” we realized, we couldn’t have it any other way.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?

Luxxe & Found is a lifestyle brand that’s quite unique, actually.

I’d say our mission is two fold: First, to redefine luxury as a reflection of absolute freedom instead of accumulation.

Secondly, we seek to elevate and diversify the narrative of nomadic and tiny living.

We have made a conscious choice to live freely first; and for us that looks like minimalism and lots of adventure.

We hope to inspire many others to discover their own path to absolute freedom.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

We really love bringing friends into the fold of our lives.

Saturday morning we would go to the Farmers Market at Crenshaw Mall for some fresh fruits and some Raw Cane Super Juices. Then we head to the Los Feliz Flee Market.

Miz La La is definitely a nice vibe for a late lunch in their garden style outdoor dining area. Or, for an upscale dinner, we would make reservations at Bavel in the Arts DistricT.

Sunday we would start with breakfast at Jon & Vinnys for the best pancakes in LA, before heading to the Hollywood farmers market to get some fresh veggies and loose leaf teas from Nya/Duba teas and spices. After bringing home the haul, we’d hit Leimert Park for the drum circle until sundown.

Monday we like to start the day with a juice or smoothie from Kreation before riding to Santa Monica beach on the Ballona Creek trail. Take in the beach on the path and hang out at Bacari for happy hour.

Tuesday starts with a coffee or tea from South LA cafe before going to the Culver City farmers market for our mid-week haul. Also, can’t forget my mom’s World Famous Margarita…it’s a must have at some point of the visit.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

There are two names we must mention, actually.

The first is our incredibly talented contractor Michael at Kepler Services, who has really been the only person both brave and skilled enough to take this project on.

Second, we must thank the The Asé Group for believing in our vision, and helping us tell our story through the marketing and branding of Luxxe and Found.
